Symbiosis International University, commonly known as Symbiosis University, is a prestigious institution of higher education located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
The inception of Symbiosis can be traced back to 1971 when Dr. S. B. Mujumdar, a visionary educationist and a visionary himself, laid the foundation of Symbiosis Society. Initially, it started as a small educational initiative aimed at providing foreign students with an opportunity to study in India.
